Seeking Before and After Childcare Workers

River East Day Camp needs youth workers for their Before and After Childcare programs from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in July and part of August. Please send your resume to karlacheriedt@gmail.com or call 788-1328 for more information.

SeEd fund

We put our money where our mouth is!!! We encourage YOUNG PEOPLE to
be involved in summer ministry and to enroll in undergrad Christian formation
classes in the fall. If you want to work at camp…if you want to enroll in a biblical
or theological course at a Mennonite post-secondary institution…check out the
church website for details on how to apply (under “Resources” click on “Funding
Opportunities”). Applications for the SeEd fund will be reviewed on May 10 th.
REMBers are encouraged to support our youth by designating to the “SeEd fund.”

Interested in baptism?

Membership??? Our Sunday May 27th baptism service will be the next occasion
for receiving people into membership at River East. If you’d like to become a
member, please let one of our pastors know. And for those interested in learning
more about membership at River East, you are invited to a dessert and conversation
evening at the church on Wednesday, May 16th at 6:00 p.m. Childcare will be
provided. Please RSVP to the office if coming.
